A new video from Fox’s “The Simpsons” has a message for the mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico – and President Donald Trump.
In the short video posted online to update viewers on the show’s Hurricane Maria-relief efforts, the show’s bartender, Moe Szyslak, addresses Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz:
“I, personally, know how it feels when somebody comes and throws paper towels at you,” the character says. “In my case it was flaming toilet paper, but the principle is the same. It is humiliating!”
After unveiling $25,000 that has been raised in relief efforts, he says, “¡Vaya con Dios, Puerto Rico! This money’s coming straight to you from Moe Szyslak.”
The video also directs people to donate to UNICEF USA, One America Appeal and Save the Children.
On Friday, Cruz thanked Moe and the show, saying “... having @TheSimpsons in our corner fills our hearts with light.”

Trump hasn’t responded to the video, and he is currently on a five-nation trip to Asia.
The Category 4 hurricane hit the island about six weeks ago and destroyed most of the area’s infrastructure, knocking out power. Only about 30 percent of power has been restored, The Boston Globe reports. Part of the island is inaccessible due to debris.
On Oct. 3, as about 200 people cheered his visit, Trump tossed supplies including rolls of paper towels into the crowd, sometimes in a basketball-like manner. His actions stirred up controversy.
Mayor Cruz has criticized Trump before, saying in late September, “We are dying, and you are killing us with the inefficiency and the bureaucracy.”
Trump responded: “The Mayor of San Juan, who was very complimentary only a few days ago, has now been told by the Democrats that you must be nasty to Trump.”
