Puerto Rican bank Doral has been classified as "undercapitalized" by the US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), according to a regulatory filing by the bank.
As a result, based on an amended Q1 financial report filed by the bank on June 9, Doral must submit a written capital restoration plan to the FDIC by July 27.
